Two Regina manufacturing companies have been fined more than $11,000 for not providing payroll records in an overtime dispute.

Cabtec Manufacturing and Precision Wood Products pleaded guilty earlier this month to 16 charges under the Saskatchewan Employment Act.

A total of 110 charges had been laid against the companies and several individuals after an anonymous complaint for failure to pay overtime.

They were asked several times to provide payroll records between January and March of this year, but failed to do so.

The two companies have also been ordered to pay outstanding wages totally almost $22,000 to 15 employees.
