Alex Jeske was 20-of-23 passing for 180 yards and had two total touchdowns, and undefeated Dayton beat Jacksonville 31-14 on Saturday.
Dayton is unbeaten through eight games for the first time in 14 years.
Dayton built a 24-0 lead by halftime. Jeske had a 1-yard sneak to open the scoring and connected with Tyler Tumpane for a 7-yard score. Later in the second quarter, Jeske fumbled at the 1, but right tackle Jimmy Vogel recovered it in the end zone.
Tucker Yinger made it 31-0 in the third with a 40-yard touchdown run.
Yinger carried it 19 times for 122 yards and one touchdown for Dayton (8-0, 5-0 Pioneer).
Rylan Wells replaced starter Kade Bell and put Jacksonville (6-2, 3-2) on the board at the end of the third with a 39-yard strike to Brian Burnett. Wells finished with 254 yards and two touchdowns.
