Montreal Alouettes linebacker Bear Woods underwent successful surgery to repair his right pectoral muscle, the CFL club announced Thursday.

Woods was injured in Montreal's 29-11 home win over the Calgary Stampeders on Friday night.

Montreal has placed the six-foot, 245-pound Woods on the six-game injured list.

Woods, 28, is in his fifth season with Montreal and was a CFL all-star in 2014.
