Simone Biles is good to go for a third straight world title.
The 18-year-old from Spring, Texas, will lead the U.S. women's gymnastics team at the world championships in Glasgow, Scotland, this month.
Defending Olympic all-around champion Gabrielle Douglas and three-time Olympic gold medallist Aly Raisman also are part of the group that will try to extend the Americans' dominance. The U.S. won its second team Olympic gold in London three years ago and easily captured the world title in China last fall.
Maggie Nichols, Madison Kocian, Brenna Dowell and MyKayla Skinner also made the team, though one athlete will be named an alternate before the competition begins Oct. 23.
Biles, Kocian and Skinner were part of last year's world championship team.
