Jalen Billups and Cole Murray combined to score 40 points as Northern Kentucky came from seven points down in the first half to knock off Division II Tiffin, 83-71 Tuesday night.
The Dragons took a 35-29 lead at the half, but were outscored in the second half, 54-34.
Billups scored 22 points, 19 in the second half, and Murray added 18 more, hitting 4 of 7 from beyond the arc, while Lavone Holland finished an assist shy of his first career triple-double with 10 points, a dozen rebounds and nine assists.
The Norse shot 61.5 per cent from the field in the second half (16 for 26), including 4 of 7 (57.1 per cent) from long range.
Tiffin got 20 points and seven rebounds from Khaleal McCormick, who was 7 of 17 from the floor and 3 of 5 from 3-point range.
