Brad Bowden had a hat trick to lead Canada past South Korea 8-0 on Monday in an international sledge hockey tournament.
Billy Bridges, Greg Westlake, Rob Armstrong, Tyler McGregor and Adam Dixon also scored for Canada. Dominic Larocque earned the shutout.
"The game was a complete 15-man effort," said Armstrong after scoring his first-ever goal for Canada's national sledge hockey team. "As a group I thought we all competed, and that is what you need in your first game of a tournament."
Canada plays Italy on Tuesday in their second game of the preliminary round. Norway is the other team in the four-nation tournament.
