Joshua Braun scored a career-high 34 points and Grand Canyon beat Utah Valley 99-88 on Saturday night for its ninth-straight victory.

Braun shot 8 of 12 from the floor and made 17 of 19 free throws. Dominic Magee scored 14 points, and Grandy Glaze added 14 points with 10 rebounds for Grand Canyon (16-2, 3-0 Western Athletic Conference).

Konner Frey had 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting to lead Utah Valley (7-11, 1-2). Marcel Davis chipped in 17 points and Jaden Jackson had 16.

The Antelopes built a 10-point halftime lead and stretched it to 75-60 with nine minutes left. Utah Valley cut the deficit to five points twice before Jackson and Davis made 3-pointers to pull the Wolverines to 91-86 with 46 seconds left.

De'Andre Davis and Braun made four free throws apiece to seal it.
