Brett Hickey scored three goals and added five assists as the Toronto Rock beat the New England Black Wolves 15-12 on Friday night in National Lacrosse League action.

Kevin Crowley, Kasey Beirnes and Kevin Ross all had a pair of goals for the Rock (13-4). Brock Sorensen, Sandy Chapman, Stephan Leblanc, Josh Sanderson, Brodie Merrill and Damon Edwards supplied the rest of the offence.

Pat Saunders responded with a hat trick of his own for New England (4-10). Brett Bucktooth and Kyle Buchanan struck twice while Drew Petkoff, Garrett Billings, Kevin Buchanan, Jamie Lincoln and Sheldon Burns also chipped in.

Brandon Miller made 58 saves for Toronto with Evan Kirk turning away 27 shots for the Black Wolves.

The Rock converted on all six of their power plays while New England was 3 for 10.
