Britain's Gary Hunt took the lead in the men's high diving at the world championships Monday, making him the gold medal favourite in Wednesday's final rounds.
Hunt's spectacular three-somersault, four-twist dive off the 27-meter platform was the best-scoring effort of the day, picking up 161.20 points.
That gave him a total of 381.10 from Monday's three rounds. Scores carry over to the last two rounds Wednesday.
David Colturi of the United States is second on 359.10, with Mexico's Jonathan Paredes Bernal third with 350.40.
Defending world champion Orlando Duque, however, could only manage 319.65 for 11th place.
