Andrew Brown scored career highs with 21 points and five 3-pointers in Furman's 99-38 rout of NCCAA Piedmont International on Tuesday night.

Kris Acox and Stephen Croone added 15 points apiece for the Paladins (4-3), who trailed briefly then outperformed the Bruins by nearly every measure.

They outrebounded them 56-25, outshot them 54 per cent to 25 per cent, outscored them 16-9 in points off turnovers and made 14 of 28 3-pointers.

Justin Valentine put the Bruins up 3-2 with a 3-pointer, but it was all Furman after that. Croone hit a free throw to open a 24-7 run in which Andrew Brown made two 3-pointers and John Davis III another, and the Paladins led 44-16 at halftime.

Acox hit a layup, Croone dunked, Fowler hit a 3 and Furman continued to pull away in the second half, leading by 64 with 2:29 left.

Malik Miller led the Bruins with nine points.
