The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed defensive tackle Clinton McDonald on injured reserve and released linebacker Julian Stanford from the practice squad.

McDonald sat out last Sunday's 23-20 overtime win at Atlanta after suffering a pectoral muscle injury the previous week against Washington.

The seventh-year pro started six games this season, finishing with 31 tackles.

Tampa Bay announced the moves on Tuesday.
