Kyle Buchanan scored 49 seconds into overtime to lift the New England Black Wolves to a 17-16 victory over the Toronto Rock on Sunday in National Lacrosse League action.

Shawn Evans had six goals and six assists for New England (4-2) in regulation, Pat Saunders and Kevin Crowley had four goals and two assists each, Jordan Hall had a goal and three helpers and Sheldon Burns also scored.

Kirk Evan made 38 saves for the victory.

Stephan Leblanc led the Rock (0-6) with four goals and four assists while Rob Hellyer had three goals and six assists. Brett Hickey scored three times, Colin Doyle and Jesse Gamble each scored twice, and Kasey Beirnes had one goal.

Brandon Miller shouldered the loss after stopping 41-of-58 shots.
