Rodney Bullock had career highs of 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Providence to a 94-73 win over Brown on Saturday night.
Freshman Ryan Fazekas added 17 points, making 5 of 8 3-pointers, and Jalen Lindsey added 14 off the bench on 5-of-7 shooting for the Friars (3-0), who shot 57 per cent for the game.
Jason Massey and Travis Fuller had 12 each for the Bears (1-3), who won last year's matchup 77-67.
Ricky Council II hit a 3-pointer late in the first half to give Providence a 45-35 lead. Early in the second half the Friars used a 12-0 to go up 58-38. They shot 65 per cent in the second half to maintain a comfortable margin, pushing it up to 28 with 3:32 left.
Providence finished with 26 assists on 33 baskets with Kris Dunn getting 10 to go with his 11 points and seven rebounds.
