Canada will have a shot at winning four individual medals in swimming at the Rio Olympics on Monday night.

Kylie Masse of LaSalle, Ont., will compete in the final of the 100-metre backstroke at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium, while Rachel Nicol of Lethbridge, Alta., will take part in the 100-metre breaststroke.

Brittany MacLean of Toronto and Katerine Savard of Pont-Rouge, Que. have both made the 200-metre freestyle final.

Canada's Sydney Pickrem and Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson will be vying for their own opportunity at the medals Monday night in the semifinals of the 200-metre individual medley.
