St. Louis reliever Seth Maness has been ejected from the second game of the Cardinals' day-night doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs.
He entered in the sixth inning and was tossed with one out in the seventh, after Chicago's Addison Russell tied it at 2 with an RBI single just inside the first-base line.
As umpire Pat Hoberg called a fair ball, first baseman Mark Reynolds threw his arms up. Maness ran over and was ejected on Tuesday night.
