Henry Caruso had 14 points and seven rebounds, and Princeton hit 12 3-pointers in an 89-59 victory over Hampton on Sunday.

Princeton hit four 3-pointers over five first-half possessions to take a 30-23 lead. The Tigers led by eight points at halftime and extended their advantage to 52-37 after making two 3s in the first four minutes of the half.

Steven Cook, Spencer Weisz and Devin Cannady added 12 points apiece for Princeton (8-4). Cook and Weisz each had six rebounds and four assists, and Cannady made four 3-pointers.

Princeton made 54 per cent of its field-goal attempts and held Hampton to 20-of-66 shooting (30 per cent).

Brian Darden led Hampton (5-7) with 17 points and hit four 3-pointers. Quinton Chievous had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Pirates, who have lost four of their last five games.
