Cody Jamieson had a hat trick and seven assists as the Rochester Knighthawks beat the Toronto Rock 12-7 on Thursday in National Lacrosse League play.

Dan Dawson, Cory Vitarelli and Jordan Hall had two goals apiece for Rochester (1-1), while Stephen Keogh, Joe Resetarits and Craig Point chipped in as well.

Matt Vinc made 40 saves in net for the win.

Brett Hickey scored three times for Toronto (0-2) in its home opener. Rob Hellyer had a pair of goals, while Kasey Beirnes and Stephan Leblanc also scored.

Brandon Miller stopped 33 shots for the Rock.

The Knighthawks went 1 for 4 on the power play, while Toronto was 3 for 4 with the man advantage.
