Calvin Crawford scored 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting and Manhattan knocked off Monmouth 78-71 on Thursday.

Monmouth led by two with 1:57 to go on Chris Brady's layup. He was fouled on the play by Zane Waterman, and then Waterman drew a technical foul. Brady missed the technical, then his and-one. Shane Richards made a 3-pointer at the other end to put the Jaspers up 72-71, which started a 9-0 run for Manhattan to finish the game.

Rich Williams scored 15 points with seven rebounds for Manhattan (8-10, 5-4 Metro Atlantic). RaShawn Stores had 14 points with six assists, and Thomas Capuano added 11 points.

Brady led Monmouth (14-5, 6-2) with 15 points. Deon Jones scored 14 points with eight boards and Justin Robinson added 11 points and seven assists.
