The Detroit Lions have released wide receiver Jared Haggins and defensive back Taylor Mays and signed tight end Deon Butler.
The Lions announced the moves Saturday night.
Haggins was an undrafted free agent out of Florida State. Mays was a backup for the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
Butler hasn't played in an NFL game since the 2012 season, when he was with Seattle.
