Nana Foulland and Chris Hass combined to score 38 points and power Bucknell to a 107-61 rout of Division III Shenandoah in the season opener for both schools Friday night.
Foulland converted 9 of 11 field goal attempts to amass 20 points to lead the Bison while Hass knocked down 6 of 10 from the field, including 4 of 6 from long range, to finish with 18 points.
Bucknell led by 26 at intermission and outscored the Hornets by 20 in the second half.
Kimbal Mackenzie came off the Bucknell bench to score 17 points and dish out seven assists while the Bison shot a blistering 67.7 per cent from the field.
Antwan Pittman scored 16 points off the Shenandoah bench and Malcolm Clark added 12 points.
The Hornets shot 20 for 66 from the field (30.3 per cent) and were 7 of 23 from distance.
