Canada's four-man crew piloted by Justin Kripps slid into 12th in four-man bobsled World Cup action on Sunday.

Kripps, from Summerland, B.C., piloted his new crew of Ben Coakwell (Saskatoon), Alex Kopacz (London, Ont.), and Josh Kirkpatrick (Calgary) to a time of 1:53.45 on the 14-corner track.

The German sleds swept the World Cup four-man podium for the second straight week. Francesco Friedrich teamed up with Martin Putz, Jannis Baecker and Thorsten Margis for the gold medal at 1:50.58.

Maximillian Arndt, Kevin Kuske, Ben Heber and Alexander Roediger grabbed the silver medal at 1:50.63, while Nico Walther, Marko Huebenecker, Christian Poser and Eric Franke completed the German sweep after sliding to the bronze medal position on the podium with a time of 1:50.74.
