Jace Hogan scored 17 points, leading five Navy players in double figures as the Midshipmen beat Jacksonville 71-65 in the Spartan Showcase on Saturday.
Shawn Anderson and Will Kelly had 12 points apiece, and Tilman Dunbar and Tim Abruzzo scored 10 each for Navy (5-2), which led by as many as 19 in the second half. Kelly added eight rebounds and six blocks.
Darius Dawkins made six 3-pointers and scored 24 points for Jacksonville (2-4), one night after notching career-best marks of seven 3-pointers and 25 points in a loss to IPFW.
The Dolphins pulled within six twice in the second half but couldn't get any closer. Marcel White had 15 points and Kori Babineaux 11.
The Midshipmen made 7 of 8 free throws in the final minute to secure the victory.
