Jules Iloki scored the winner as Nantes ended a four-game losing streak in the French league by beating Lille 1-0 on Tuesday.

Nantes moved up to 14th in the standings, six points above safety, after claiming a third win this season, its first in a more than a month.

Iloki scored from the rebound in the fifth minute after keeper Mike Maignan parried Alejandro Bedoya's volley.

In a match bereft of chances for both sides, Lille's evening took another turn for the worse with one minute left when midfielder Sofiane Boufal came off the pitch on a stretcher with a suspected left ankle injury.

Boufal has scored both of 16th-place Lille's two league goals this season.
