India will play three tests and a three-day practice game on a tour of Sri Lanka starting next month.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India said Thursday that the practice game will be played against a Sri Lanka Chairman's XI in Colombo from Aug. 6, which will be followed by the opening test in Galle starting August 12 and two in Colombo beginning on August 20 and August 28.
India last toured Sri Lanka for a test tour in 2010, when a three-game series was drawn 1-1.
