Ridden by Kent Desormeaux, Ireland-bred Beat of The Drum ran 1 1/8 miles on turf in 1:47.59 and paid $13.20, $7 and $5.20 at 5-1 odds in her fourth U.S. start.
Brazil-bred Last Kiss returned $6 and $4 in her U.S. debut. Colonel Joan was another 1 3/4 lengths back in third and paid $4 to show.
Ireland-bred Royal Temptress, the 7-2 favourite, finished sixth in the eight-horse field, beaten 7 3/4 lengths.
The victory, worth $33,000, increased Beat of the Drum's career earnings to $161,523, with three wins in 11 starts.
