Jacksonville Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny broke his right hand in the loss at Tennessee on Sunday.
The team is "continuing to evaluate" options for Posluszny and the Jaguars have not ruled him out for the rest of the year.
Posluszny injured his hand late in the loss to the Titans when he landed it while tackling quarterback Marcus Mariota. If Posluszny does end up on injured reserve, it would be the second consecutive year he finished the season there. He missed the second half of 2014 with a torn chest muscle.
Coach Gus Bradley says Jordan Tripp would replace Posluszny if he can't play Sunday against Indianapolis.
