Alex Jeske threw three touchdown passes and Dayton converted an interception into a score to beat Stetson 27-14 on Saturday.

Jeske was 15 of 23 for 223 yards, hitting Tyler Tumpane on a 3-yard pass to open the scoring after Christian Searles intercepted a pass by Ryan Tentler and returned it 71 yards.

Jeske connected with Jack Euritt on a 14-yard TD pass for a 17-7 halftime lead, then hit Gus Madden on a 29-yarder in the third. William Will kicked field goals of 44 and 25 yards.

The Hatters outgained the Flyers (4-0, 1-0 Pioneer) 330 total yards to 280 and held Dayton to 57 yards rushing.

Tentler was 22 of 45 for 198 yards with two interceptions and an 8-yard TD pass to Chris Crawford. Tentler led Stetson (1-3, 0-2) in rushing with 90 yards on 11 carries, including a 35-yard TD run in the first quarter.
