Manucho scored deep in stoppage time to give Rayo Vallecano a 1-0 win at Granada in the Spanish league on Friday.

With Rayo stalled in attack, Manucho went on in the 84th minute and finished off a last-gasp move when the Angolan striker swept Gael Kakuta's pass in off the far post.

In an otherwise drab match plagued by fouls, Rayo had created little more than a shot by Lica Pereira that goalkeeper Roberto Fernandez stretched to save in the 12th.

Rayo's third win in its last four games lifted it into a provisional eighth place.

Granada lost its fourth straight match after a strong start to the season, and was left in 13th place.
