Michael White completed 14 of 24 passes for 296 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Marist to a 35-14 win over Butler on Saturday.

It was the Red Foxes third straight victory and pulls them back to the .500 mark after opening the season 1-4.

Juston Christian caught five passes for 171 yards and two scores for Marist (4-4, 3-2 Pioneer Football League), including a 60-yard strike from White just 21 seconds into the opening quarter.

The Red Foxes then got touchdown runs from Marcellus Calhoun and Garrett Clay to take a 21-0 lead into halftime. Calhoun added a second rushing score in the fourth.

Quarterback Matt Shiltz put Butler on the board in the third with a 1-yard TD run. Shiltz finished with 263 yards passing to lead the Bulldogs (4-4, 2-3).

Marquese Martin-Hayes added 88 yards receiving for the Butler.
