Maryland will visit an old Atlantic Coast Conference rival in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

The made-for-TV event's 14 matchups were announced Wednesday.

The Terrapins — who recently completed their first season in the Big Ten after leaving the ACC — will visit North Carolina in a matchup of teams that figure to enter the season as favourites to win their leagues. Additionally, the Terps have added Duke transfer Rasheed Sulaimon to their roster.

Maryland played Virginia at home in last year's ACC/Big Ten Challenge, its first in its new league.

Among the other high-profile matchups: Indiana visits reigning national champion Duke, Louisville plays at Michigan State and Virginia travels to Ohio State.
