Maryland quarterback Perry Hills has mononucleosis and will miss Saturday's game against Indiana.

Caleb Rowe was selected to start for Hills, who leads the Terrapins with 542 yards rushing and eight touchdown passes.

Rowe has thrown 15 interceptions compared to five TD passes. This will be his fourth start of the season.

Maryland has lost seven straight. The Terrapins and Hoosiers are both seeking their first Big Ten win of the year.
