Micheal Warren posted career highs of 28 points and nine rebounds on Saturday night, and Cal State Northridge snapped a two-game losing streak with an 88-74 win over Morgan State.

Kendall Smith added 20 points and Jason Richardson 10 for the Matadors (5-9), who used a 13-1 run to lead 73-56 on Smith's basket with 5:19 to go. Northridge led by no less than 12 the rest of the way.

Phillip Carr had 20 points for Morgan State (2-11), which dropped its eighth in a row. Cedric Blossom added 12 points and Rasean Simpson had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bears turned a 36-all halftime lead into a 45-42 edge with 14:19 to go before Northridge scored six straight to take the lead for good. Morgan State pulled back within 48-47 and it would get no closer.
