Nine people have been arrested following the third night of violence in Knurow, in southern Poland, triggered by the death of a football fan hit by a rubber bullet fired by the police.
An autopsy revealed on Monday that the man died from a rubber-object shot wound, and a massive hemorrhage.
In response, groups of young men attacked the Knurow police station with hard objects late Monday, the third consecutive night of violence.
Clashes with the police began on Saturday during a Polish league football match. A 27-year-old man in a group that stormed the pitch was hit by a rubber bullet, and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Fourteen policemen have been hurt, and 39 people have been arrested in the clashes that are under investigation by prosecutors.
