Chanise Jenkins and Jessica January scored 17 points apiece and No. 23 DePaul rolled to its fifth straight victory on Sunday, 102-63 over Butler.
Ashton Millender hit 5 of 7 shots, including three 3-pointers, and scored 15 points for the Blue Demons (21-7, 13-2 Big East). Jenkins had 10 assists as DePaul, which leads the nation with 610 assists, had 30 helpers on 39 baskets. The Blue Demons shot 50 per cent despite going 9 of 27 from 3-point range but in dominating the boards 50-22 they grabbed 24 on the offensive end.
Butler (8-17, 3-11) hung with DePaul through the first quarter, trailing 21-17, but the Blue Demons closed the second quarter with a 22-3 run to lead 45-25 at the half. The Bulldogs were 1 of 7 with seven turnovers.
DePaul forced 21 turnovers, getting 16 steals.
Blaire Langlois had 19 points and Brittany Ward 14 for Butler.
