Beau Beech made seven 3-pointers and scored a career-high 33 points and North Florida recovered from a 14-point, first-half deficit to beat Kennesaw State 93-78 on Saturday night.

Beech was 11 of 16, and Dallas Moore was 9 of 15 with 24 points for the Ospreys (14-7, 4-0 Atlantic Sun), who have 17 straight home wins. Trent Mackey had four 3-pointers and 14 points. Chris Davenport added 11 points and 10 rebounds for his sixth double-double this season.

Kendrick Ray scored 21 points and Yonel Brown had five 3-pointers for 17, 14 in the first half, for the Owls (5-14, 1-2).

North Florida built a 12-point lead the Owls cut to eight, but Beech hit three treys over the final four minutes.

Kennesaw State led by 14 with 4:30 left in the first half. The Ospreys closed to 47-42 at intermission after a run Moore led with nine straight points.
