The Baltimore Orioles optioned right-hander Kevin Gausman to Triple-A Norfolk before Sunday's game against the Blue Jays and recalled right-hander Oliver Drake from Triple-A.

Gausman was activated off the disabled list to make his first start of the season in Saturday's 5-3 win. In his first appearance since May 6, Gausman allowed two runs and four hits in five innings.

Drake was 0-1 with 11 saves and a 0.76 ERA in 21 games at Norfolk.

Outfielder Adam Jones did not start Sunday. Jones, who missed three games earlier this week with a sore shoulder, was the DH Friday and Saturday. The Orioles are off Monday before opening a three-game series at Boston on Tuesday.
