Jockey Irad Ortiz Jr, trainer Rudy Rodriguez and owner Michael Dubb teamed to win the $100,000 stakes for New York breds with Court Dancer and Good Luck Gus on Sunday at Aqueduct.

The winning margin in both races was a neck.

Court Dancer, the 7-5 favourite, held off Willet in the Broadway for fillies and mares. It was the sixth win in 21 starts for the 5-year-old.

She paid $4.90 to win. The time was 1:10.79 for six furlongs.

Good Luck Gus rallied from sixth to beat 3-5 favourite Royal Posse in the Haynesfield, the fifth win in 13 starts for the 4-year-old.

Royal Posse was also trained by Rodriguez and owned by Dubb.

He paid $7.90 to win as the 5-2 second choice.

The time was 1:43.76 for the 1 1/16 miles.
