Pedro Morales had a pair of penalty kick goals to lead the Vancouver Whitecaps past Seattle Sounders FC 2-1 on Saturday in Major League Soccer action.
Morales opened the scoring in the 10th minute before adding another in the 74th for Vancouver (1-2-0)
Andreas Ivanschitz scored the lone goal for Sounders FC (0-3-0).
Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted made four saves in net while Stefan Frei stopped five shots in defeat.
