A person familiar with the decision tells The Associated Press that the Milwaukee Bucks have traded UCLA shooting guard Norman Powell and a first-round pick in 2017 to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for backup guard Greivis Vasquez.
The person spoke Thursday night on condition of anonymity after the Bucks made Powell the 46th overall pick in the second round.
Asked about the potential trade earlier Thursday night, Bucks general manager John Hammond said he could not confirm a trade until it was final.
