Marie-Philip Poulin has been named captain of the Canadian women's hockey team for the Four Nations Cup.
Canada opens defence of its title at the annual international women's hockey tournament Wednesday in Sundsvall, Sweden, against Finland.
Poulin served as captain at the 2015 women's world championship in Malmo, Sweden, where Canada took the silver medal.

Poulin also scored both goals for Canada in a 2-0 win over the Americans in the 2010 women's Olympic hockey final.
Meghan Agosta of Ruthven, Ont., Toronto's Natalie Spooner and Lauriane Rougeau of Beaconsfield, Que., will be Canada's alternate captains.
Canada meets the U.S. on Thursday and host Sweden on Saturday. The final is Sunday.
