The Super Bowl champion New England Patriots will be honoured at the White House.
The Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX. It was New England's fourth NFL title since the 2001 season.
The White House announced Thursday that the team will be welcomed by President Barack Obama on April 23, continuing a tradition of Obama honouring sports teams for giving back to their community.
