Dmitry Zhukenov's power-play goal in the second period was the winner in the Chicoutimi Sagueneens' 2-1 victory over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Tuesday.
Jean-Simon Belanger opened the scoring 3:09 into the first period before Zhukenov gave Chicoutimi (11-14-4) a 2-0 lead.
Fabrizio Ricci had the lone goal for the Drakkar (5-19-2) in the third period.
Julio Billia stopped 27 saves for the win while Keven Bouchard tossed aside 28 shots in the losing effort.
The Sagueneens were 1 for 6 on the power play while Baie-Comeau failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
