The Washington Redskins have placed starting left guard Shawn Lauvao and backup cornerback Justin Rogers on injured reserve, meaning both are out for the rest of the season.
Also Tuesday, the Redskins signed free-agent linebacker Mason Foster, signed cornerback Quinton Dunbar from the practice squad to the active roster, and added centre Austin Reiter to the practice squad.
Mason played for Tampa Bay the past four seasons. He was cut by Chicago before the start of this season.
Lauvao sprained his left ankle in Washington's 32-21 loss to the New York Giants in Week 3. The next day, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Lauvao had "a chance to miss a little bit of time."
The Redskins (1-2) host the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) on Sunday.
