Jovante' Spivey made four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to help Sam Houston State to an easy 72-51 win over Abilene Christian on Monday night.

Dakarai Henderson finished with 16 points and Aurimas Majauskas added 15 points and eight rebounds for Sam Houston State (11-10, 6-2 Southland), which has won six of its last eight games.

The Bearkats also moved to a perfect 4-0 against Abilene Christian since the Wildcats joined the conference.

Josh Delaney hit a 3-pointer which sparked a 21-6 Bearkats run to close out the first half and gave them a 34-19 lead. Abilene Christian never cut the lead below 10 points the rest of the way. A Majauskas layup pushed the lead to 20, and two Jamal Williams free throws made it 59-30, the largest lead of the night.

Parker Wentz led Abilene Christian (8-12, 3-4) with 17 points. Duran Porter added 15.
