The Sharks Super Rugby team says South Africa internationals Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis and Willem Alberts will all leave at the end of the season.

The three forwards have all been linked with French clubs. The Du Plessis brothers will reportedly join Montpellier, where former Sharks and Springboks coach Jake White is in charge. Flanker Alberts is connected with a move to Stade Francais.

The Sharks said Tuesday they will play their last game in the Durban-based team's final Super Rugby fixture of the season on Saturday against the Stormers.

Hooker Bismarck du Plessis has played for the Sharks for 10 years and is their most capped Super Rugby player with 129 appearances.

Chief executive John Smit said "they felt the time was right to experience something different abroad."
