Azura Stevens had 18 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocks to propel No. 14 Duke to a 78-50 victory over Winthrop on Sunday.

Stevens, who also had eight blocks, shot 7 for 11 from the field and extended her double-digit scoring streak to 16 games. Rebecca Greenwell pumped in five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for Duke (2-0), which set a school record with 16 blocks, and controlled the glass 51-36.

Leading by 3 late in the second quarter, Duke took control with a 13-2 run that included one of Greenwell's treys and stretched across both sides of the break to make it 47-33 with 7:04 left. Stevens fueled the run with three buckets and a pair of free throws.

Erica Williams scored 17 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the field to lead Winthrop (0-2). Ezinne Mbamalu added 10 points.
