DJ Stewart hit a two-run triple in Florida State's three-run third inning to lead the Seminoles to a 3-1 victory over Clemson in the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament.

Quincy Nieporte followed Stewart with a run-scoring single for the fourth-seeded Seminoles (38-19), who won Wednesday despite managing just three hits for the game. Boomer Biegalski (6-4) earned the win, allowing four hits in 6 1/3 scoreless innings.

Matthew Crownover (10-2) took the loss for the fifth-seeded Tigers (31-26). He went seven innings and recorded eight strikeouts.

The Tigers got one run despite loading the bases in the seventh and eighth innings, then Billy Stroke struck out Steven Duggar to end it with the tying run at first.
