Taylor Beck scored at 4:39 of overtime and Jean-Francois Berube made 38 saves as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers edged the visiting St. John's IceCaps 3-2 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.
Justin Vaive and Andrew Rowe also scored for the Sound Tigers (20-19-3).
Sven Andrighetto and Max Friberg found the back of the net for the IceCaps (17-14-9), who got a 25-save outing from Zachary Fucale.
Forward John Scott, who was sent to the minors by the Montreal Canadiens on Jan. 16, made his debut for St. John's. It was his first AHL game since playing for the Houston Aeros in 2009.
Bridgeport went 1 for 5 on the power play while St. John's failed to score on seven chances with the man advantage.
