Clarke Flegel stopped all 29 shots he faced as the Regina Pat Canadians shut out the Grenadiers de Chateauguay on Tuesday in round robin play at the Telus Cup.

Riley Woods and Tylor Ludwar both had power-play goals for Regina, which improved to 2-0 at Canada's national men's midget hockey championship. Tyran Brown, Tyler Adams and Owen Sillinger also scored for the Pat Canadians.

Kyle Jessiman made 28 saves for Chateauguay (1-1).

TORONTO YOUNG NATIONALS 5 NEWBRIDGE ACADEMY GLADIATORS 2

Max Routledge led the Young Nationals past the Gladiators with two goals.

Dean Rayner, Justin Herman and Jake Joffe also scored for Toronto (1-1), while Dalton Ewing made 22 saves.

Tyler Brown and Morgan Barron replied for Newbridge Academy (0-2). Matthew Williams stopped 28-of-32 shots in net for the Gladiators.

STRATHMORE BISONS 7 ALBATROS DU COLLEGE NOTRE-DAME 1

Kyle Gordon struck twice and added an assist to power the Bisons past the Albatros.

Gary Haden scored with two assists for Strathmore (1-1), while Davis Sheldon, Trygve Many Guns, Markus Lavallee and William Conley round out the attack. Kurtis Chapman turned aside 28 shots.

Samuel L'Italien was the lone scorer for College Notre Dame (1-1). Tristan Berube and Marc-Antoine Dufour split time in net for the Albatros. Berube stopped 13-of-18 shots, while Dufour made saves on 14-of-16 shots.
