Thomas Jefferson ran for three touchdowns and Delaware beat New Hampshire 31-14 on Saturday night.
Jefferson ran for 98 yards with a pair of scores from the 1-yard line and a 7-yard touchdown run. Kareem Williams ran for 140 yards on 16 carries with a touchdown for Delaware (3-4, 2-2 Colonial Athletic Association).
Sean Goldrich threw a touchdown pass, and Dalton Crossan ran for a score for New Hampshire (3-4, 1-3), which was held to 183 yard of offence.
Goldrich threw a 2-yard scoring strike to Jared Allison with five seconds left in the second quarter to give the Wildcats a 14-6.
Frank Raggo kicked a 33-yard field goal, and Jefferson ran for two touchdowns in the third quarter. Williams added a 3-yard touchdown run to cap an 18-play, 76-yard drive that ate up ten minutes in the fourth quarter.
